Our Story
Honesty, Heritage, and the Hardest Cheese on Earth.

The AG Dog’s Chew Promise
At AG Dog’s Chew, we aren’t just another pet company. We are a bridge between the ancient, untamed peaks of the Himalayas and the modern American home.
Our mission is simple: to provide the world’s most durable, natural, and honest dog chew exactly the way nature intended.
How it all started
The idea for AG Dog’s Chew was born out of a simple observation: most “long-lasting” dog treats on the
market were either gone in minutes or filled with ingredients we couldn’t pronounce. We knew there had to be a better waya way to satisfy a dog’s natural instinct to chew without compromising their health.
We looked toward the Himalayas, where for centuries, mountain communities have relied on Chhurpi a traditional hard cheese known for its incredible durability and nutritional density. We realized that this ancestral recipe was the perfect solution for the modern “Super Chewer.”
The AG Difference: Patience over Production
While most treats are mass-produced in factories, our chews are crafted by time.
We partner directly with small-scale Himalayan dairy farmers who raise their yaks and cows on high-altitude, pesticide-free pastures. We don’t use chemicals to speed up the process. Instead, we follow the 28-day traditional method:
-
Small-Batch Boiling – To ensure purity and quality
-
Traditional Curing – Naturally removing lactose so it’s gentle on sensitive stomachs
-
Real Wood Smoking – Giving the chew its signature Himalayan Gold color and a light, smoky aroma dogs love
Our Four Pillars
